Moving Turnsignals in Taillights

I want to move the turn signals from where they are located from the factory to the outtermost light in the tails.

Does anyone know how to go about wiring the tails to accomplish this?
I want the outter most lights (new turns) to be on with the lights and then also blink when I hit the signals.

The turns have three wires running into them and the outter most taillight has two wires running into it...I did this on my Jetta but can;t figure it out on the Camaro.

You will need to find a little light fixture that has 3 wires. I would guess from some other car. If not I have no idea what else you would do. I guess you can open a spare normal blinker light and reverse engineer it's features into the small outtermost one. I guess....

Use a 3 wire socket from a donor car, then tie it wires, into the other bulb, then detach the turn wire from the original one. That's a basic concept. I'd hatfa know which tailights you're talking about, and learn how each wire behaves, under on, off, and turn conditions.

You might hafta modify the tailight housing to accept the 3 wire socket, dunno, without seeing what you're talking about.

Oops, yea this is for a Camaro.

There has to be a way to cut and splice the factory wiring...

Here is the way I did it to my Jetta

Been years since I messed with a Camaro..

Let's se...Does the stock turn light stay on, when blinking, or vary in intensity while flashing a turn?

If the tailight housing has the same socket, would just switching their placement accomplish what you're looking for?

Nope. The turns have the bigger bulbs while the outter lights have the small 194's.

Heres yet another. This one does a very good job...I'm getting closer but still can't get 4 from 2+2 yet...I'm at about 3 1/2

Ok...Need to find a way, to turn off the running lights, while the light flashes, then, turn back on, if the light switch is on. So, just move the turn wire, to the running light input of the bulb. But, with e relay wired, so that the running light is on, when it needs to be, but, turns off the running light, when the flasher is activated.

I'll see about mocking one up, and drawing the wiring, if you don't figure it out. I know I have a spare relay, just need a flasher to do this.

BTW...I was in error in a previous post.

The turn signals only have two wires running to them, not three.

Ok...On the side markers...One wire is power, one is ground? On the front lights, one wire ground, one running light, one turn, correct?

Can you identify which does which for me?

Best I can come up with...

Use the turn signal wire, from before the flasher, to trip a relay, to turn off the side marker light.

Then, tie the side marker light, into the turn signal. That way, it gets a signal from the flasher.

I noticed that my front marker lights run with the turn signals, but the rear marker lights don't. This may be my next project in line, but I already have a few things piling up.

Email me, to lemme know how it works out!
