Airbag Coil Confusion

Here's my dilemma.

I took apart the entire steering column, took the entire shaft out, fixed the tilt bolts, and reinstalled it.

Im down to reinstalling the Airbag Coil and still have an issue. I read in a previous post that the arrows in the back need to line up, then you turn it 2.5 turns the opposite way. So I rotate it clockwise till the arrows meet up, then turn it back? Im confused on how the coil will slide in there with these turns. What if after the turns, the yellow wire is up top?

Sorry for the dumb questions, I'm just lost here.

the arrows on the front need to point to each other. then the body of the clockspring keys into the column, you can see the markings on the outside of the coil and inside of the column. you can't turn it while it is out of the car, or the coiled up wiring inside could stretch and get damaged.

its been a while since i've worked on one. is there a window that is yellow with the arrows lined up? then if you turn the coil the yellow will move out of the window (clear plastic cover). i think if you have the arrow lined up, and the yellow in the window the coil is centered.... please double check this as i may be thinking of a newer sir coil. best of luck.

I went by the shop manual and it said to turn the yellow until it stopped in the direction of the arrow. Then turn it back 2.5 turns. when you install it, make sure the black arrow on the front is pointing up. it didnt say anything about lining the front arrows up.
