idk if that image shows it to well but basicly its all orange peel , the guy did not cover or mask off anything , on the t tops and the windows and even the car its self window trims are all black cherry purple , even the door handles , i am replacing what i can like the handles grill and w/e i can pull off the junk yard ares he scraped what hit the windows with a razor or sharp edged weapon of some type

but i am painting it Hemi orange (like the general lee's orange) and is it gonna take alot of work to get it to come out right and not have the paint shadow , i am letting a buddy do the car for 400 bucks he is repairing my deck lid also ,

also does any one know the cost of the hemo orange paint ? i tried a few paint sites i know of and i cant find a price chart on any of em

 

I paid about $200 for my red and black paint. I don't remember exactly how much it was, but it was enough to cover the car.

 

it depends on the brand of paint you use and how much metallics and pearls, but hemi orange is a solide so it mont be to bad, you can get EVERTHING you need in OMNI brand from primer to clear for about $200, but Dont count on it winning any shows, or even last to long. i am doing my 85 iroc now https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body...y-started.html , piece by piece, in ferrari yellow, i have gotten the front bumper and a fender done, and im already at $250, and i get a discount cause i am a painter, i am spraying sikkens brand, personally i wont spray anything else, this stuff blows house of kolor away any day! do you know what brand your gonna use?

heh , i could never have a yellow car i dont care what it is i would spray paint it black before i had a yellow car , and this is my DD so car shows can go to hell for not loving my car!!!
