Water leaking to pedals

My sound deading material is wet around the pedals. I'm not sure how it gets wet, but my father believes it's coming from the windsheild.

Anyone have this problem, or know about it?

Could be but I would pull the carpet and such and make sure you have no holes in your floor.

i'd wager that you have some holes in the floor, may not even be visable from underneath the car either.

I repaired a hole in the floor boards, but the carpet still gets a tad wet when I wash the car. The water is finding its way in from above somehow, but I've yet to find the leak.

It could be the windshield, get someone to go in the car, take a hose and spray it just around the windshield and look for water.

The floorpans were replaced last year, but I remeber rust around where the pedals were.
