less then 2800 LBS. search for "my late night quest for 2800 pounds" in the "fabrication" forum. stock engine (with light weight waterpump and such) but the car was track only and therefor GUTTED to the point of no longer having all of it's wiring. i mean gutted!

I just yanked out my A/C condensor, compressor, hard lines, and canister. I'm gonna yank the rear seat soon. I bought a 7.5 lb starter(stock one is 22 lbs.). I got some SMOG legal headers to bolt on. I heard you can save some weight with a tubular K-member and A arms. Not sure how much though. Everyone seems to have a different story. I guess it all depends how radical you want to go. Some people gutt thier interiors too. I want an interior and stereo.
