I just got a new z-28 spoiler and was wondering where you mount it at. Like how far away from the back of the hatch, or all the way against it? And does anyone know where I can get a new hatch trim piece, the metal one?

when I put mine on I keped it about 1/2 in away from the rear but make sure you keep it the same all the way across. And I did not use the seals they sent with it but you might want to. Don't know if your's did or not come with it.

I got gaskets with mine. When I put my spoiler on just to see how it looked, the 2 legs werent touching the hatch, like it was warped. Was yours like that? Do you think it should be fine? And why didnt you use the seals?
