Head light question

I have recently started restoring my 1990 Firebird. I have replaced the bushings in the headlight motors but am still having problems. When I turn the lights on, sometimes they go up and sometimes they don't. It's like they are getting wound to tight. Any suggestions. Thanks!

If they are both doing the same thing, it's probably the control module.

That would be my guess. Did you make sure you greased the gears and housing? Was all the old crap out of the housing before you reassembled? Also, when I did mine, when I tightened the motor bolts down, one was tighter than the other, and it cause the motor to bind up.
