Recall work on my hood.

I have no idea where to put this, so this seemed most logical to me.

As I am sure most of you know, there was a recall on Z28 fiberglass hoods, where the fiberglass would seperate from the base of the hood.

Well, mine is seperating from the base..

My car is 23 years old, and lately I haven't had the time to go to a dealer to find out if I can get it fixed or not, or if it even has been fixed. But, do any of you think it is possible to get it done.. I mean, it is a bit of a safety deal, especially if the hood comes off on me while I am on the highway or something.

Go to the dealer and find out if they can do anything. If they can't, get a new hood before you get yourself killed.

Well, I will be needing to get my car in to get the t-top weather stripping installed.. so I might take a little more time off work so I can get to the dealer. I don't feel like having a hood come through my windshield.

Since this is a safety issue, and there was a campaign on it they should fix this.I can say that that there was an airbag recall on the early to mid nineties cadillacs, and I just did one the other day{over 10 year old campaign}.

You better do something, because I know someone who's z28 hood came a part while driving down the road not a very good thing
