It's on every Camaro. I don't know about Firebirds, though.

Not the wonderbar. It's the "Fender to Upper Cowl Brace".

"Every" camaro?

I've seen ALOT of engine bays on ALOT of camaro's... I hardly ever see those, although I have seen them more than a few times.

Oops, I lied. I was looking at the wrong part. They're on 82-86 Z28s and 87 FE2 and F41 cars, then on every car 88-90. In 91-92 they seem to have gone to a sheet metal brace.

Are you kidding. Those two things aren't the same at all, and neither are the part this guys talking about. Get your facts straight or don't post- you clearly have no clue.

Strut Tower Brace connects the strut towers (passenger and driver).
Wonderbar is a steering box brace, it bolts up with the front sway bar.

What I was talking about was: eBay Motors: NOS 82-92 Trans Am Camaro RARE GM performance brace 1LE (item 330008809747 end time Aug-13-06 19:15:00 PDT)

This thing seems kinda silly...

Yup, those are the ones I was refering to. Seen one Camaro in the junkyard with it, wife had '80's Cadillac that had it. No way it would be worth 24 bucks though, get some tubing, crimp it at the ends, drill holes and there you go.

It is a solid piece of steel if it makes any difference, may be a little difficult to flatten the ends of a piece of steel that large
