hey guys,
i love the look of the gta wheels but theyre too expensive, so i have a set of stock firebird wheels left over, that are just plain and i want to leave the lip chrome but paint the rest of the wheel black, and the letters that say pontiac red. how would i go about priming it and such, it doesnt have paint on it now its just plain metal. do i have to sand it down? what kind of paint should i use (spray/rattle can) how much primer? thanks!

heres what you do.

Strip clear off. mask the parts u dont want paint on. Then you spray 2 coats of primer nice and even. try to get inside the cracks. then wait for them to drie. then spray wheel paint 1-4 coats then wait for it to drie then use clear.

Dupli color products are good

good luck and if u mess up or anything its not my fault. this process worked for me
