I'm looking for a new front bumper and was wondering if a 1985-1992 trans am bumper would fit an 82 trans am with no problems. Thanks

 

With the Trans Am style bumpers, you have the issue of GFX. Unless you put GFX on the entire car, it will look odd. Which bumper were you thinking of?

85-90 Trans Am style bumper


91-92 Trans Am style bumper


You could also use a Formula style bumper without the GFX problems.

87-90 Formula style bumper

Firebird 67-76, 82-84, 87-92 the bumper is goin to be FB-516

 

That bumper is for an 85-90 Trans Am. It would fit, but it is made to go with GFX around the entire car.

 

I gt an 86 f body ta with a blown motor can any one help
