Cleaning front parking light lenses
Anyone had any luck cleaning up the front parking lights on the inside??? Mine are kinda green and growy looking (As in mold, or mildew) I thought of soaking them in mild bleach solution...IDEAS??????????????Thanks, Tom
How are the lights sealed?
You could always try the oven method to open them up. Clean them, and then reseal them?
I haven't looked at them, but it might work. I've done it with tail lights for other cars, when I converted them to LED.

Wow, please tell me about the oven method, and the LED's...Would love to try to clean them, and make them look more modern.....Thank you very much, just swapped to 92 Z-28 tail lights, and they look SO GOOD...Thanks, Tom
Basically with the oven method, you heat your oven up to about 250-270.
Place your lens in the oven for about 5 minutes (watch them carefully) and then take them out, and see if the glue has softened enough to pry them open. It all depends on the type of glue that is used. You might have to heat them, pry a little, put back in oven, take out pry some more, back in oven.
Here is the LED bumper lights I did on my 4Runner.

The oven method worked on these, but did not work on the actual tail lights (different glue).
Once I get further along on my restoration of the Camaro. The first thing I'm going to do is convert the rear tail/turn/backup to LEDs. Then next will be the front turns. But that is going to be a ways off, still have a lot of other stuff to do
