I'm finally getting around to doing all of the body work, and painting the Fireturd so I can sell it to fund another project. I always said I would never sell her but I need money to fix the BlaZeR-2. I'm tired and don't feel like going into full detail tonight, but I figured I would throw some pictures up here. I am shaving the door handles and marker lights as well as a complete overhaul in the engine compartment. Smooth = beautiful. I'm thinking cobalt blue paint. I plan to smooth everything I can in the engine compartment, then run all wiring through the framerails and anywhere else I can hide it. I want it to look as clean as possible. Its a 91' 5.0 TBI. Rebuilt engine, cam, headers, chip, MSD, etc.

Let me know if you have any suggestions. Don't be afraid to hurt my feelings. I know it was fugly before but it WILL be beautiful I promise.

Well still no suggestions huh? I have posted some updated pics. The engine compartment is getting very smooth. The firewall is done, as well as the frame rails. The battery trays have been removed, and I have finished with the driver's side revamp. The charcoal canister will go underneath. I will be using a Moroso coolant bottle and the battery is going to the spare tire location. My car has never had a spare since I purchased it. I still feel that the driver's side of the engine compartment will look cluttered since I can't move the steering shaft, clutch, brakes or fuel lines. I have been trying to figure out what to do with the washer bottle. It is big and ugly, but I might just clean it and leave it. Any suggestions?

I would also like some opinions on paint. What system should I use, and what tips you have for painting the plastic. I'm sure I can find this info on the site and I will be searching.

Do you guys think a car like this could bring in 8k when I sell? It will have all new paint and body work obviously. I have rebuilt the motor and it runs very strong. 5.0 TBI .030 over, cam, headers, smog and a/c delete, all MSD ignition components, chip. 5 speed w/B&M. Lowered. My only concern is that I will not be investing a ton into the interior or wheels and tires. Maybe a set of racing seats. I have new carpet, and I will be doing the headliner and door panels. I will probably fiberglass the dash and remove the vents since there is no air anymore. Paint it to match the outside.

Thanks for the help,

-Sean-
