T-Top center bracket?
I'm not sure if that's the correct name. Anyway what are the chances of remomoving it without ripping the rubber seals. I want to sand it down (a little rust) and repaint it and put it back.
Thanks for any tips or advice.

It's spot welded in there so it would be a lot of work to remove. Better try to paint it in place. Plus it may be tough to get the rubber weatherstrip out without destroying it (the rubber). It is probably glued in.

Is this the PART you are talking about?
If so, mine was just screwed in with 6 or 8 screws. Couldnt get mine out, stripped screw head. And the weatherstripping is, or should, be glued on to it. If you try to take it out plan to replace the weatherstrips.

Mine is more rusted than I thought but I got a good one at PICK YOUR PART. I going to have to wait until I can afford new weatherstripping though. They want a ton of money for it.
