Stupid Question

I know this is probable a stupid question, but instead of putting 4th dash, seats, brakes, engines, ect. on a third gen has anyone ever just put a 3rd gen body on a 4th gen camaro. Like I said a stupid question.

I think 4th gens are a little longer but don't quote me on that.

You mean just the body, so it'dbe a 4th gen with a 3rd gen body? Interesting, sounds possible but I have a feeling it wouldn'twork

They've got people that do complete conversions of 4th gen to 1st gen.. So it's gotta be possible. They have to lengthen the frame but other than that it's pretty straight forward.

i don't understand how you would put a third gen body on a fourth gen, they are unibody cars, no separate frame it's all one piece, as far as replacing removable parts goes though, you could probably get a hood and fenders and bumper cover, the whole front end pretty much of a third gen onto a fourth gen, but the whole geometry of the car is different which would make it all a real pain in the ***, and the body lines wouldn't match, i say if you have the money to burn and love the fourth gen so much just buy one. but if you love the thirdgen's more and have the money to burn just do the interior/engine and drivetrain swap. you can make a thirdgen into a really sick ride.
