Should I buy an 88 Firebird formula 350?

Sorry, I didn't know where to post this. Anyways, I have come upon a Firebird Formula 350 with mods. The guys name is Marty (found him locally) and he told me about all his mods and things that have happened to it, like vandalism, and all the work he has put in it.

Here is the email he sent me with the mods.

88 Formula 350/ 700r4, WS6
Trick Flow 23* heads , Edelbrock TES (Jet-Hot Coated), Accel Super Ram w/Accel Intake Manifold. BBK 52mm TB, Crane 2032 HR Compucam, Crane Gold 1.5 roller rockers. Crane Chrome-molly pushrods, Accel #24lb Injectors, TPIS Billet AFPR. Gave up on programming my own prom..and put the Hypercrap chip back in!!!! 160 Stat. MSD-6A Ignition, MSD 8.5 Wires....3rd set and still burning them up,Edge 2900 stall TC and Transgo shift kit.

Also...Nitto Drag Radials....Flowmaster muffler....Stewart Water Pump....everything pretty much middle of the road!

He said before he sells it, he will get a chip burned and get it running good. Does it sound like a good deal?

Sounds like one quick Formula! If he can get the tune right and it's in good shape I would pick it up unless your looking for a car that's a daily driver with good gas milage.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the price. He is asking 3500. It is in very good condition. It was vandalized though( windows smashed, and smashed hood). He has fixed it and it is in pretty good condition. Also, I forgot to add that there is only 5000 miles on the engine swap (new engine).

I told you Aaron the car is in great shape. Windows are new, just needs the hood painted to match the rest of the car. Also need to mention the Spohn sub-frame connectors, fiberglass rear spoiler, new struts and shocks, New fuel pressure gauge ( in box), all new polyeurethane
front end rebuild, pioneer stereo with polk speakers, less than 5000mi on complete engine, New tall aluminum valve covers ( in box), Synthetic motor oil used after first 500mi, Prom Burner & a couple of Eproms, 25' of bulk 8.5mm MSD plugwire and new connectors......oh and the new headliner.....

$3500.00 is a good deal...otherwise I'll part out the top end and put the OEM TPI and heads on. Then sell the superram and TFS aluminum heads. Those two items alone should get me $1500.00 or so....Hmmmmm...do I really want to sell it?

Any more opinions??? I think this is a good deal. I would be buying the car from my dad (Martyr) so I get a good deal. I am 15 (almost 16) and can get my license in less than 2 monthes and need a car.

If you are 16, that car will get you killed or hurt.

IROC-YOU...Do you think I would spend all my money and time on my dads car... Then wreck my dads "BABY". He would kill even if it was my car. I am not the kind of person you think I am. I may be young, but it I want to go fast. There is a track near by.

Would you guys rather have me buy the car, or have it parted out? He won't sell it complete because he can get more if he parts it out. That is why I want to buy it.
