I was surfing the net and found this site. They have lexan windshields and rear hatches. Is this better than glass?

I dont know if it would be absolutely better.. But its sure as heck gotta be lighter!

 

I don't think that lexan is legal on the street.

 

its most likely meant for racing not for street

 

lexan scratches easily, not for a street car at all, not legal for street use either

Bill I live in trenton NJ try safelite.com they come to your house and do it $202 +tax for the front windshield, and $344.98 * tax for the rear hatch with defroster, without is a little cheaper. Grea5t prices and they do great work

Haha, I get my windshield for 100$ with installation at my shop. Living next to mexico is sweet, they make cheaper glass I guess.

i belon to central jersey sports car club. They have all kinds od car shows we go to in Howel the Chick filla on Rt9 has a nice show, on Wed night in the summer they have a good car show. Were in Jersey aer you?

 

I live upstate, Right now I'm at Rutgers in New Brunswick.

Is that show every Wed night?

No once a month. did you go to njfboa.org There seem to be a few cruise nights there. I havent attended i just found the sight but they were gonna meet at chili's or cheeburgercheeburger on rt1 thats only 20 mins from you. I'll let you know when they start up the show at chick filla next year.
