i have a 88 firebird formula, it has a strange decal i cant seem to find on any other car ive looked at. it has a sorta like a anniversery checkered flag, wrapping from front to end of my car with formula over top of it. any1 have ne ideas wat this decal is or where i might b able to buy new 1s like it?

 

It might be a custom vinyl decal otherwise im not sure I know some 4th gen formula's had some with checkered flags I think

 

think u can find me a pic of 1?, car is all origional to and the flag is underneath the standard formula decal

Someone put that on the car, prolly after it was wrecked horribly and the entire side of the car was replaced or something.

Its prolly hiding bondo or waves. Have you looked at it real good? Ran a Carfax?

definately not factory....looks like it has been wrecked, due to to the wrinkles in the door moulding

 

clean title, :numbers match: must have smashed both sides of the car then, both sides have the decal, an no it is not hiding mud.

 

well that's really good to know. But either way it was not a factory edition. Someone who owned it had those put on for personal reasons i guess.
