Most the aftermarket hinge systems utilize the stock latches and release mechanisms. At the front of the door you have the room (with some fabrication) and a removable fender. At the rear you'll have to work from inside the car and fabricate the structure to support the door weight. There just isn't anything to weld the hinges to. There is less room for the gas springs as well. Installing them can be a challenge with nothing in the way. Then there is the curvature of the body you need to get the door to swing up and around.

The outside handle should be moved to the front of the door or replaced with an electric release. The inside handle could be electric or switched to a cable. The latch mounting will have to be completely fabricated with attention paid to getting it mounted on the correct angle to match door swing. Then the striker post mount will have to be fabricated to match and be strong enough for safety in a crash.

Once complete getting in the back seat will be much more difficult. Might be easier to close the door though from a seated position. I had a lot of fun installing my normal front swing vertical hinges without having to touch the latches. It looks cool as hell. My opinion, the added impact of reverse swing isn't worth the added aggrevation. But then there is the challenge...
