power mirrors?

power mirrors?

anyone have a unique or quick way to properly remove the mirror glass on thirdgen side mirrors? rather difficult to get too and i have yet to take one completely apart.

Are you talking about removing the glass from the plastic back plate or removing the entire assembly from the housing?

I believe the mirror and the motor are just held in with three phillips head screws.

yes... just curious if someone has found an easy way to take them apart as it's rather difficult getting to the necessary screws.

I am holding the glass piece in my hand and it looks like it just pops on to the motor, kind of like ball and socket connections. I doubt if this helps any but maybe if you can try removing it by pulling it out from a junked car
