I used some when i was a kid painting my bike. I dont know if it was the same as the one you are talking about but what i used was crap. It was just like regular grey paint.

I have not seen the stuff in person, but from what the Alsa Corp website shows it could be pretty cool stuff! That company makes all kind of cool paint stuff, I almost used the crystal fx when I flamed my truck a few years ago.
Here's the chrome

Ive used lots of their stuff. Verry nice products. If you plan to use any of the CHROME BASED paints be warned. YOU CANT WETSAND em to remove any orange peel/fish eye/ etc..

Gotta be a perfect finish for it to come out like the website shows ya. If you can do that your good to go and will be happy with the stuff.

When I was racing my RC cars we used AlClad paints for chrome. but the issue was we couldnt put anything over them as it would mess up the chrome. is this true for this stuff?

If you check out the link I provided to there page, it has a video of how it is sprayed on. But, Yes there is a clear coat that is recommended with the stuff, and they also sell candy colors to put over the top of the chrome for a colored chrome look.
