Transmission: 700R4 with shift kit
ID Plate

ok i got an Australian ID plate on my firewall it has on it
Pontiac Trans Am SM2 1984.

What dose the SM2 mean? if any one knows.

Well All i can find on the net about the SM2 is that it is a High performance ECU.
I have a box under the RHS kick panel with wires going to it but i have no Emissions system left, all the sensors are there but the wires are just hanging off them and my engine bay is full of loose wires from the hack job that was the removal of the factory computer.

So no one at all knows what SM2 could stand for???
Dose any other person have a Trans-Am with this code on the Firewall?

It realy has me stumped.
