SPANKIN' NEW PLASTIC PREP WORK(LIL' HELP PLEASE)
i just recieved one of my new front fender gfx pieces from year one today and just wondering the method of paint prep.i currently have sem flex primer and sealer which i used for my used 92 nose.just wanted to know if there is anything other than clean and scuff the new part.thanks,Timmy

if the plastic is bare, then you need a plastic adhesion primer, its a clear film that sprays on and dries in minutes, then you spray on your primer and your set, but any sanding that goes back to the bare plastic has to be preped again, it doesnt matter if you get this adhesion primer on your paint primer.

if its bare plastic you need to use a mold release chemical and some other stuff to clean the plastic, then use the flex primer. If theres already primer on it, you should be able to wetsand it smooth and seal/paint it
