while driving around town the other day a 3rd gen camaro passed me with a tall (at least compaired to stock) lip spoiler. it reminded me of a 2nd gen spoiler and looked way better than the stock spoiler i have on my 84 trans am now. i did a search and all i could come up with was an optional 88 firebird spoiler which would be too rare to get ahold of, and also didnt look as good as the one i saw on the camaro. does anyone know of any simular aftermarket part? i would love to get one of these on my firebird

I just got one of these on Evilbay. I had no idea it was dealer option when I got it. It's pretty neat, hope the snow goes away so I can put it on.

im not sure that thats the same one but it might be. it looked like a 3 peice. does any company sell anything like that for the firebird?

 

I just picked one up for my Formula for 10 bucks. As soon as I get a chance to put it on, I'll let you know how it fits. It is the same lip spoiler that is on my buddies 89 RS. I am not to fond of the wrap around spoilers. They always crack and fall apart.
