Oem T/A ram air hood?

Has anyone used a factory TA hood, taken the small front grill vents, reworked them as to accept a camaro tpi air induction set-up turned upside down? Or use the corvette style. I know this is one of those threads that can go here or in engines. But reacing for clues.

I have been thinking bout doing this, But you cant use the camaro intake, the hood is two close to the top of the radiator, it is dam near flush, When I can afford to repaint my car hopefully in 2-3 months I will be attempting this, The only way I can figure out how to do this is remove all bracing, make a new liner Inside the hood. Remer you only have about 3/4 -7/8 inch from the inside of the hood skin (I have used modeling clay that is all the room you have to make a tunnel for the air to travel in) and dump the air into an air box behind the radiator. Similar to what is used for the aftermarket ram-air hoods. I will make a thread when I finally start this mod. But remember because of the front bumper line it will not be a "ram air hood" it will just be cold air; any pressure wave will be kicked well over the hood. When you think about it just remember how much more a TA/ Firebird hood slope in comparison to a camaro hood. That is why we got the shitty intake in the first place.
