90-92 Ground Effects Comming Loose
90-92 Ground Effects Comming Loose
My ground effects have been slowly comming looser and looser on the doors. I see that they are riveted to the bottom of the door. The plastic is still in good condition so i was wondering how i should go about fixing it. Do i make a new piece from thin sheet metal? Or i seen that you can use bodyshop grade adhesive to attach them?

Not that it's off topic here, I'd say it's definitely in that restoration category, but I think you'd get a lot more information/answers if you posted in the body forum.

They are not rivited to the door. The rubber GFX have a metal backing plate that is bolted to the door in 5 places. 3 behind the door panel, 2 you can access just opening up the door.
The rubber piece IS rivited to the metal backing plate.
