t top seal adhesive

t top seal adhesive

starting to clean up the top rails of my t top seals, 2 cans of carb cleaner im almost done. i want to use a good adhesive when i put my new seals in, any suggestions? what have you used?

i see, with a name like that i bet it speaks for itself. can you do a pair of seals with one tube, container or whatever it comes in?

yea the t top bar was the thing that started this whole dilemma in the fall,
i have a new bar and seals just waiting on the 3M glue to get here.

What adhesive are you going to use to secure your t-bar down? Just to share, I have used 3M's seamsealer and the it eventually dried up and water made it's way into the car again! So, this time I think I will use Permatex - Ultra Black silicone to hold the T-bar down. I have heard of a couple guys using this and they have had good results so far.

i might use the weatherstrip seal if i have any left over, if not maybe just some black silicone from home depot
