T-Top restore

the T-Tops on my daughters new 92 rs are weathered to the point where from the out side they look like a black /gray plastic or fiberglass, yet are clean from the inside looking through.

I'm thinking they were mirrored and the the mirrored put has pealed off over the years. can they be restored or maybe have a mirrored tint put on the out side?

Re: T-Top restore

Maybe the Lexan (not glass) tops...
Should be able to polish them easier than the glass....
Google lexan polishing...

Re: T-Top restore

If you have the factory lexan t tops then they've probably developed the typical "cracking" that every pair develops. They can be brought back through sanding and polishing
