Camaro front bumper
hey all, there is a 86 Camaro down the street from me for sale and the front end didn't look like a stock camaro front bumper. I like the look of it.
Is this a stock or aftermarket one:

Re: Camaro front bumper
Looks like a stock Camaro bumper with a Firebird (trans am maybe?) front spoiler, I don't know my birds that well.

Looks pretty good if you ask me. I wasn't aware that the lips could be swapped like that. You think any modification had to be made to make that fit?

the picture isent the best i took it on my phone but it looks realy good in person. From what i know it is a dead stock 305 TPI Camaro, i duno what would have been done to fit the GFX.

Re: Camaro front bumper
off the subject venom...i honestly think thats WAY to much for a bone stocker lo3 tpi...you can find alot better deals than that check the camaro's forsale in thirdgen...you can pay a quarter of that and it would even be worth it to drive wherever it is to get it.

Re: Camaro front bumper
He is in Australia, cost would be more to get one to him than to get one that is already there. Probly wouldent even be street legal because they have right hand drive over there.

Re: Camaro front bumper
Yep, well my RHD conversion was $10,000 and that was going back 18 years.
So i wouldent want to know what it would be now.
Plus i never said i was gona buy it, i just got spun out by the bumper and had to ask if it was normal coz it looks cool n i had never seen 1 like it b4.
If it had the fog lights in the holes I recon it would look evan better.

Man, I don't know if anyone else here is old enough to remember choo choo customs. It kind of looks like one of their Camaro SS conversions. But then again, it would be kind of odd for one of those to make it's way to Austrailia. I kind of did a quick google search, but I only found this link: http://www.chevyworld.net/choochoocustoms.htm

Re: Camaro front bumper
This looks like the same project I am doing on my 87-Sport Coupe...
But I am putting a Z28 front and rear bumper on my camaro and have IROC-Z ground effects....But that Sport Coupe looks great...
