Places to find doors

Well to start off, I'm new to this forum I'm seventeen years old and I don't know a ton about third gen camaros. I have a 84' with TPI however the motor isn't original which you guys probably guessed since they didn't put tuned port in 84's. Anyway I need to buy a new passanger side door because mine is rusted beyond fixing. I live in Michigan so i'm definetly in the rust belt. The only place online i've seen doors for my car is Hawks and ebay. Are there any other places to go that i've over looked? I'm in the process of getting a hold of some local junk yards and seeing what they have but as far as the internet goes, where are some other places to get doors?

Thanks for you help

John

Re: Places to find doors

I've been on this quest myself for a few months now, check the classifieds section of this forum, and post in the parts needed section. Call junk yards like you said, but also try a place called house of camaro in california. You can find info on them in the FAQ's thread on the main forum page and phone number. If price isn't an issue, then you can get the doors for 50.00 a piece, but shipping is outrageous. Good luck.

Junk yards will be your best bet. Try and find a u-pull-it. You have to remove the part youself but they can be as much as half the price.

I know what you mean I live in MN and the winters took a toll on my camaro. I got one of my doors from a guy on the net and the other at a junkyard. But just check around your area like the newspaper and look for some junkyards. Good luck with swaping the doors it can be a PITA I found that out the hard way.
