QUARTER PANELS tweaked but salvagable?

ok my car is straight and super nice . . . . . . . .but. . . . . .whoever had the car before me had a lift in there garage. to make a long story short they lifted the car on both sides under the quarters behind the front wheels-right where the quarters bolt on . so it pushed them up slightly(3/4") and (1/2)
so can i fix it? would a body shop kill my wallet fixing it? im not worried bout paint right yet. . . . .does anyone know what i mean or encountered this? can i fix it myself?

first off its the fender you are talking about. But to fix just take a pair of vice grips and bend the pinch weld back in. Really easy fix should take u 5 mins.

I got the same problem but it has twisted mine a little so the quarter pnl sits about 4mm wider at the bottom than the door dose when you look down the side of the car.

Re: QUARTER PANELS tweaked but salvagable?

Are the fenders bowed out or is it just pushed out some. The bracket where the fender bolts is just a stamped peice that can be bent back to shape. If the fender didn't bow you will just need to straighen the tab to get it back right. If the fender did bow then, If its a show car buy new fenders, if its a daily driver then you should be able with some help get someone to push in on the apex of the curve right at the molding while you pull out on the bottom of the fender. (with it unbolted at the bottom) Do this a little at a time until the curve matches the curve on the door, tweak the mounting bracket until the door lines up. I had this happen to my firebird getting tires put on the car. Luckly it was an easy fix, as long as the fenders arent bowed to much or creased. Just remeber to paint the bracket and the mounting tab since you will crack the paint in this area.
