Re: Inner/Outer Window Felt

GM still sells the outer window felt replacements. I just bought a set at wholesale cost from GM, $35 ea. The inner window felts are attached to the upper door panel plastics. Dont think the general carries or offers those any longer?

As for my experience with OER (reproduction) Classic Industries stuff, well... you pay for what you get. Dont get shafted.

Re: Inner/Outer Window Felt

E-mail them and ask them for pictures so this way you know exactly what your getting.

P.S. I h8 companies that dont have pictures of what they sell...its not that hard to take a picture and post it.

Re: Inner/Outer Window Felt

Yes. Open their on-line weatherstripping catalog. Section F. On page 343. The part # CR2064 is an OER part #. If you choose to order it, you're on your own.

All Classic Industries parts starting with the alpha letter "G" are General Motors parts that you can order or purchase elsewhere. The felts you're looking for are listed on the same page right below the OER parts, with the exception of the inners, which as mentioned, may not be available from GM.

Re: Inner/Outer Window Felt

Well i ordered it, Cost me $23 to ship , ups ground, that seems a bit extreme to me when i shipped out a big box with 2 wheels weighing 50lbs UPS ground for $25....and he said they'll ship tomorrow and i should have by the end of next week? I sure as hell hope not $23 for a package that weights maybe 5lbs is ridiculous but to take over a week and a half? Come on...
