Thinking about selling my window louvers

I'm really undecided on them. I like the look, the privacy, keeps the heat down, etc. I'm not sure what the deal is lately but I just want a different look I guess. Here's the only pic I have of them (was taking pics of my new stickers).

What do you guys think?

I love the look of louvers and yours look great

Can always just take them off for a few months and see how you like that

How much you want for them?

This thread might get moved to the classifieds

I'll post in the classifieds if/when I decide to sell them. Not looking to spam, just trying to get opinions.

Re: Thinking about selling my window louvers

I'd take every "I'm interested!" post to say they like them.

Im undecided on them as a whole... There's something cool about louvers, but I dont know...

Re: Thinking about selling my window louvers

I'd be very interested to know what you're going to ask for them. I have the same set on my Camaro that I would like to sell but have no idea what to ask for them. If they're not worth much I'd just hold onto them in case I wanted to throw them on my other car sometime.

Re: Thinking about selling my window louvers

I'm going against the crowd here. They are kinda neat, I guess, but if my GTA had had them on when I bought the car? They would have come off as soon as I got home, or asked for a discount, if he had kept the louvers, so I wouldn't have had to deal with taking them off and selling them.

Just my opinion!

Re: Thinking about selling my window louvers

They dont look too bad. But I don't really like them. They are too 80's for me. Actually I think they are ugly, they don't give the car a clean look, and make it look like a muIIet ride, but thats just me, its your car and it does look good with or without them, just better without IMHO...

(PS: Not to offend anyone who has a muIIet, I had one once...back in '94)

Re: Thinking about selling my window louvers

when i bought my camaro it had louvers on it the aluminum ones and were painted to match the car, its the second reason why i bought the car. i like the look. instead of 80's it sort of reminds my of early 70's and 60's when they started giving the option of any kind of exotic spoiler say, the superbird

Re: Thinking about selling my window louvers

Had a set of Crager rear window louvers on my Iroc-Z when I bought it new in 85. Racing a Vette on 610 Loop at 120+mph they blew off the rear window in about 20 pieces. They look good, but they don't like to go fast. Be aware. Badman
