I baught this in december, hoping to make a pretty nice car out of it. I have just always loved the camaro's and firebirds since the first time i ever saw one, they just look so agressive. Here is just a thew pics of what it looks like and whats going on.

Hey thanks man, hey do any of you guys know what i can use to seal up my welds? I aint a pro welder, if anything i sure suck at it but i am sure they will hold. I don' want any water to get inside, what can i use? I head that some guys used pitch (stuff the use to seal roofs) but i don't know, an idea's or know what the factory uses?

Re: My Camaro Build Up Check it out!!
Updates are a coming, floors are completely welded up and patches are done, the wheel hub is also done, floors have been primed and are ready for paint. Just waiting for my friend to bring over his camera so i can add the pics to my pc. Now for pain't i have no clue whats the best stuff for a floor, what would u guys recomend??? I heard some guys tell me to use rocker guard but i don't know, just tell me what you'd guys use for this job, note the welds aren't even close to perfect, and i really like to put something thats thick so it can go everywhere, id rather do the floors by brush so i can put some thicker, besides no one will see this at all after the carpet is back inside. I just want it to last longer

Re: My Camaro Build Up Check it out!!
Id get the bedliner and put that in. Herculiner is like $45 (Don't Quote me) at walmart for a gallon or Something. When i finish my floor all im going to do is completely herculine the whole floor of the car then stap the carpet over it. Im also going to put it in the wheel wells because when i fixed some rust in there i primed and painted it but all i had was gray paint and primer... So id rather it be diffrent colors and not rust. But im going to go threw and completely cover it once i get done. Plus its tough so im not going to chip it driving on dirt roads... Which is a good thing... The girlfreind lives on the worst stretch of dirt road in Michigan. I sware ive taken my truk through feilds after they had just been plowed and they are smoother then this road.

Por 15. It'll seal and protect from future water penetration, unlike paint that can get rubbed through. Por 15 is MUCH stronger.

Re: My Camaro Build Up Check it out!!
i congratulate you on your work man.
alot of people would see those rust holes and would part the car out or junk it.
what your doing shows patience and dedication , where many people would give up.
your saving another camaro.
what did you use to cut out the rust ?

Re: My Camaro Build Up Check it out!!
well, i used mostly the grinder, and a saw s'all but thats only where it was the worst, i used a drill and brush and brushed all the rust off and then primed and put down a thick coat of trem clad or as you might call it, rustoleum. It took me about 1 week and a 1/2 of work just to do the floors, they ain't perfect but hey it should pass inspection, and besides no one will see them, i ain't doing the outside hillbilly style like this lol. I don't know if you checked it out, but the one my other rides on car domain, the sunfire, well the whole back part was redon all by my self, first body job i ever did, and i did with spray paint and filled with primer, lol. No one never even thought i did a body job on it so i guess i didn't do that bad of a job, i spent a week on that car. Hopefully me camaro will end up looking nice at the end of it all, i plan on painting either rhapsody purple, or i also have to do my 4runner, and it might go the same red, and top black, a nice 2 tone on both lol, they'l be twins!!
