fourth gen spoilers

hey guys, my name is brian and i'm new to this site...or atleast this is only my second thread here...anyway my question to you guys is about the fourth gen spoiler thats available for the third gen trans am...i have an 87 and i'm redoing it and i have had my mind set on this for a while but ijust took a look at it closer online and it looks like the spoiler is designed to be directly off of a real fourth gen, not soething to look alike...does anyone know much about this spoiler or does anyone have any good pictures of one so i can base my decision on whether to stay with the original or go with the new and improved? thanks guys

Re: fourth gen spoilers

I've got one designed for third gens, the original fourth gen ones are not a direct bolt on.You would have to modify the spoiler feet that sit on the inner sides of the deck lid.

Re: fourth gen spoilers

you can always get a stock 4th gen spoiler, do the work and have it on the car by the 4th.. :P They really arent THAT much work.

Re: fourth gen spoilers

well i just ordered a new fourth gen spoiler today from hawks...i tried ordering directly from g&t but the same as for half a week now that ive been trying to call them with questions, they didnt pick up lol but hopefully it'll wind up looking good...i'm hoping it will...the only concern i have with the spoiler though is that it looks weird in certain views, like in picture #3 here...looks kinda weird http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...%3Den%26sa%3DG
