ok, I have a 83 Firebird I have the electric pull down for it, and I see by just holding it up to the old spot where the normal latch bolts in at, that it will not directly bolt in. So I am wondering who all has done this fab or switch and if they can offer any advice.

Its not a necessity to swap it, but I always thought they were cool..

I did a few searches and came up empty handed..
