My CHMSL housing is busted anyways, and since the CHMSL is not required, here in Texas, I'm considering just taking it off completely, and just filling the decklid & spoiler holes for the bolts.

Opinions? Anybody ever do this?

Do a search, this was covered a few weeks ago. With the 1986 lights, you can just unscrew the CHMSL from the inside and cover the hole with some sillicone and a hatch bolt.

I know HOW to do it already, that's not a problem. And mine is an 87, so there are 2 bolts holding it to the hatch, then the wing has to be removed, then 2 more bolts holding it to the wing.

If they miss my STS lights, they are freaking BLIND!

Maybe you could hook up a horn, to your turn signal then! blink/HONK, blink/HONK, blink/HONK!
