This sounds crazy
I have a 1991 Trans am convertible. My friend has a 1991 Trans am coupe. On his hood the two vents nearest the windshield, his vents point inward and mine point outwards. I think one of the cars may have been changed at one time or another. Can anyone tell me if the vents are supposed to point inwards or outwards? A picture of you hood would help a lot. Doesnt it sound crazy? thanks.

Sounds like they were removed for paint/maintenance/after collision and were improperly installed.
