My frame is bent....options.
My frame is bent....options.
The car was wrecked a year ago (1987 iroc-z). A collision with the front right pushing everything up and in like 6 inches. I sent it to a body shop were they cut me a deal at $400 if i picked up the parts....well i did that and it still dosn't look right. So i have the option of 1. getting it fixed at a bodyshop that knows something. 2. working the fenders to only look straight. or 3. I found a guy who is selling just the body and frame of his old z28 (1989). No motor or tranny for $150. I am almost tempted to invest in the third option. Also the tranny in my car is shot too so i will have to pull it anyway.
Help.....Thank you,

Re: My frame is bent....options.
Id go for the new body
A unibody will never be as strong after a repair, plus it would be easier to swap the stuff chassis to chassis rather than go thru the trouble of pulling it to fix the frame correctly
