Need some part numbers. Radiator Support Parts. Have a marked diagram!

Hey all. I have an 87 Trans AM. I cant seem to locate part numbers for a few things on the car that I need. So I figured Ide see if any of you can help me out. I have a diagram, with the parts circled that I need.

Any help you can give me would be great, because the dealerships and parts houses are useless without the actual GM part numbers.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!!!

Justin

try going to an actual bodyshop, those pieces should be fairly easy for them to find might be a little less than th stealer.

Yeah...now that you mention it I do remember him having info. I dont think he still does, but Im going to go check right now. I think I have some of them...found them by randomly finding the parts in aftermarket sites which had the OEM numbers listed.

my parts manual doesn't break things down like that diagram.. or at least I'm not sure where to look lol. I can give you the "X" cross brace part number for the Camaro.. it's probably the same.

Thanks for the help man. I actually got ahold of deadbird and he helped me out with the numbers that I was missing. Now all I need is for them to be available through GM...doubtful. But Im gonna give it a try.

Thanks!

Goodluck. They have a very odd collection of parts still available. I just got a new front spoiler support thing from GM that's been missing on my car since I bought it.

well ****, ill sell you part #8, how much?
its a couple rods that do absolutely nothing, though I guess that could be argued, since the sheet metal they attach to seems to end up with cracks... ill sell you the crack making rods for $20!

haha... Well Whatever the rods do, Im putting them back in. And thanks for the offer but I got them from GM for 4.75 a piece.

After Im done getting the parts, I might make a list of the numbers and whether or not the stuff was available.

Re: Need some part numbers. Radiator Support Parts. Have a marked diagram!

??? I have all the pieces priced out. Its not that bad... MAYBE $500 after shipping for everything. $500 is well worth it to fix my car. Especially after all the work i just put into it over the last year or two.

Actually, I got enough used, perfect condition parts, that I was able to get my parts quote down to an amount that might keep it from being "totalled". I dont care either way... salvage titles dont mean much to me since Im never going to sell the car.

Insurance adjuster comes today! Kinda anxious to see how it turns out...

Re: Need some part numbers. Radiator Support Parts. Have a marked diagram!

Just get a cordless drill and head to a pickapart and drill the spot welds out of a parts car it's easy to do then just tack weld it into your car. probably cost you 50.00 bucks LOL
