Ttop Seal Strip Replacement
I found and ordered these parts (10198352/3 from Gmpartsdirect), but removing the old ones and putting these in appears to be a bit more involved than I originally suspected once I took the covers off the glass panels.
I did a search in the forum, but the related threads were mostly a few years old, and the link to the instructions on Deadbird.org now brings me to a site to exclude birds from my attic rather than any help on my Camaro =)
Anyone have a good link to a set of instructions involving the Ttop weatherstrip (on the glass panel itself, not the body) and the underlying seal strip?

This sticky was floating around a while back. Not sure why it was more difficult to locate this time, but here it is. Hope it helps.

Strangely, even though I didn't see a link in your reply, I somehow found the instructions here afterwards: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body...-number-t.html
One question about them if anyone knows. It specifically says to discard the retainers once you remove them. Is that simply because the instructions came with a new kit containing new retainers, and are they actually able to be salvaged once removed and reinstalled on top of the new seal strip? Or is it because the process of removing them makes them unusable for some reason?
I ask because my retainer and weatherstrip on the glass panels is fine, and I only ordered the seal strip as they were torn and warped on both sides.
Thanks.

Yea, sorry about that. Guess I didn't paste the link to my reply :-p Anyway, glad you found one that helps...unfortunately I don't know what to do with the retainers...I have never actually done this repair yet.

Re: Ttop Seal Strip Replacement
While we're at it, the metal strip on my t-tops is looking like crap. I want to replace them with something decent.
Ya know that little piece of metal held on with some phillips screws in the middle. They seem impossible to take off. It should be as easy as taking the screws out and pulling them off right. Is it that those suckers are stuck on there real good after 21 years?

That's a thread on the same subject. Doesn't sound too hard to get it out if you're careful with the weatherstripping. It's actually one piece with like 10 screws holding it in (6 visible and 4 covered by weatherstripping).
The part number is 10219403 and it was about $150 on gmpartsdirect.com if I remember correctly. (That's for 86-92. I think it was a different part number for 82-85) That is of course if you had to go the route of ordering a new one if you couldn't find a used one, or one in a junkyard somewhere.
