a childhood memory or just my imagination
I have been interested in some different tail lights that i swear i saw as a kid. the f body was the same color as my rs (teal). It had the original tail lights but the lense did not have any color. the whole lense kinda looked like the area where the backup lights are. it's not euro lights and it's not OEM. was i mistaken? eitherway thought i would like a pair. do these exist?

I know this is probably wrong posting Mustang stuff here, but I'm just trying to get a feel if this is what you are talking about it. These are actual lenses, not covers.

They could sell quite a few of those if they made a replacement grid style for Camaros.. especially at a price of $150

I think so. With a black, white or teal f body i think they would look killer. Hope to hear from someone where to find some or have some made. appreciate all the help!

KandiedZ had talked about getting some clear ones made, not sure where that went. I don't think the price would be as low as those for the Mustangs though.

Re: a childhood memory or just my imagination
it's too bad we can't bleach them like a fake Hollywood star. lol! That would get'em clear!
don't know, wish someone would just do it I mean what's the big deal?
Maybe someone could make a two piece mold made of metal of each side (lense) then just melt some polycarbonate to 350 degrees in the oven, pour and let cool... bam! you start making money! At least from me!
