I found this car online and cannot find out who makes this body kit for third gens. I emailed the guy but have not heard back from him. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The kits start at around $8000, and require a lot of work.

I like the kit except the grill. That grill looks like crap.

Daaaaaaaaamn, i don't think i'd put $8000 into anything i actually wanted to drive...and then at that point it just wouldn't be worth it. Wow...thats all i can say, newayz i agree about the grill, it seems a bit fierro-ish IMO.

that whole kit is disgusting. doesnt even remotely look like a camaro. whats the point? just take that 8 grand and buy yourself a rice burner if thats the look youre into
It isn't meant to look like a Camaro, that is the whole point. Rice? It is designed to look Italian, not Japanese.
Junior Member
nice but kinda looks like a nissan 300 or 3000gt to me. you could pick up one of them for a lot less than 8 g's. however, not a hater, just don't like it for me. not my car though
Member
I can't believe someone would want to hack up a Camaro like that. Each to their own, but in my opinion that is a total waste of car that looked good from the factory.
Member
yeah definetly a nissan mated with a fierrari. I like it though. Wouldnt do it to my camaro.
Junior Member
Is that really a camaro under there? Looks like an S7 with those tail lights in the back.

Third Gen Camaro or Firebird. I wanted to build an exotic kit car and liked the Evoluzione. The fact that it was built off a car I was real familiar with was a bonus.
Junior Member
i dnt see why you would want one of these it looks like a ferrari mixed with a 3000gt so its italian-rice why would you f*** up a camaro like that

this thread should just die. everyone has their own opinion, end of story.

I think its hilarious how all you you say its abosultely ugly and people who do this are dumb F***'s and things like that...If i recall... My car is MY car... i can do what ever i want with it. Just like anyone else.. They can make it the kit car they can restore they can take a sawz-all Cut it into 189 peices and take it to the scrap yard. Its there car. Let them do what they want with it.
If you like it and have the eight grand More power to you. Id rather stand out then have the same car thats a ton of other people have... I have never seen an evolutionize in real life... so to me they seem awfully rare. Id rather be rare then the same car as my neighbor...

My input:
1. I like this look
2. I wouldn't go for this look
3. I wouldn't quite call it rice
8 grand could be spent in so many better ways

It's cleanly done, but why would someone want a beautiful third gen camaro muscle car to look like a italian exotic? I would rather cube my car then have this done.
Ugh...haha.. Never mind. Had a whole couple paragraphs typed up for this thread...but, Ill refrain.

This kit for wasn't intended as a camaro body kit. It's a kit car like the many lambo & ferrari kit cars that use less expensive cars as "donors". This kit came out a while back and I actually liked it but with release of the new eclipse it just turned me away because they looked too similar. I actually wouldn't of done this to my camaro but did think it was pretty smooth at the time it came out. As I recall they had also done an interior swap that wasn't too bad.

If you want it, can afford it, and can find it go for it. I love the way they look. I wouldn't turn my current car into one, but I would like to have a 2nd car to do this to.
There are quite a few threads on these boards, just search for "evolutionize".

There's a guy who drives a black one of those around here. It's still got the stock firebird interior and 305. He said it was a nightmare putting the kit together and all the fiberglass shakes terribly at high speed.
Looks great though, IMHO.

Yeah looks great if you like that it looks like a mitsubishi 3000gt.
Why not save the cash and by a 3000gt instead. That way you wont have to comit sacrilege to a American Muscle Car.
Plus that 8 grand can be better spent.

*Shakes head in shame*
I don't get why people want to take a already damn fine looking car like 3rd gen Camaro and tack on cheesy-plasticy body kits that make it no longer resemble at Camaro at all. . .
And from what I've read above, its not worth the time, effort or cash do it- and even in the end, it may not turn out good. It may look good now, but several years down the road might regret it.

okay, the question was answered in the first few posts, now lets stop the bashing, some people like it, some dont. I'd personally rather see one of these then an old rusty beater.

I love it! Not something I would do, but definately cool!
That looks to be a kit car opposed to a body kit. When I think body kit I imagine something like what the *****s are buying for their cars...over exaggerated GFX that hang off the bottom of the car.
Cheers!!
