I was going to buy an aero wing from Hawk's in January but I found a 91 aero wing in good shape for a good price. My 88 Formula originally came with the aerowing but I was wondering how much modification has to be done to retrofit the 91/92 style onto my 88? Will it connect to the window trim the same way and in the same place? How about the deck lid? I know the holes for the 3rd brake light would need to get filled but will it bolt up otherwise? I'm guessing a 91/92 decklid is also a direct bolt in?

 

if you use your decklid your going to have to fill the holes you got and create new ones, how hard that is i'm not sure, i just picked up the entire '91 hatch when i did mine, the deck lid will be a direct swap if you wanted to do that, but i'm not sure if the window trim hooks will work the same.

 

The attach point at the windows are totally different.
