Camaro/Firebird doors

Hey guys, I'm glad I found this site. I own a 1989 Trans Am GTA, and just recently got into a crash. I need to replace the driver's door on the car and was just wondering, could 82-92 doors of a camaro fit on my car? Also, if anybody could help me with finding doors that would fit on my car, that would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Camaro/Firebird doors

hey, sorry to hear that, yes, 82-92 doors will fit, but with some applications you may need to fill in the ground effects holes of the door molding and then drill new holes for the trans am ground effects. I have a passenger door that i might be selling, sorry no drivers. Good luck!

they'll fit, you just need to weld up the old gfx holes and drill new ones for your T/A gfx. to find doors, check out your local junk yards, or try the classifieds here, also I see them on ebay alot. sorry to hear about your crash.

Re: Camaro/Firebird doors

You may not even need to do that. Depending on the year, just the end holes will need to be elongated. Unless you get a sport coupe door, then just drill holes.

Got a friend who just parted out a black GTA but he's in Michigan. Don't know what shipping would be though.

Too bad....I've got a perfect set of power window doors (windows, mirrors & locks) off a white 89 GTA. I can't imagine shipping cost on these monsters!
