well on my 82 t/a with power bulge hood the latching parts were not working right and the cable is cut


i removed the old school heavy style hood pins from the 69 fairlane we are junking and plan on using them on the trans am

however i kinda hate to ruin the power bulge hood in the process


where do you mount the pins at under the hood of these cars on the rad support or do you have to make extention plates to locate them further back/inboard ?

anyone have pics ?

maybe i should sell the hood and get a flat one or something instead

i dont need to have a power bulge one

this car is just a 305 powered daily driver stock pretty much except for i am getting new 3.73 put into the axle
or finding a 3.42 or 3.73 axle

and i converted to th350 from 200c and am running a 2400 stall converter.

and will ahve dual exhaust on it soon too, currently no exhaust under it at all, so it still is parked, but is insured and plated and ready to drive legally, new windshield installed and done too, the wheel and tired i have from the 85 cutlass supreme i took to the shredder the other day will be on the t/a for now until i find 15' aluminums of some kind somehow

hate to trash a pg hood, i may remove the pmd seats too and sell them or trade them for blue s-10 ones

i dont like the pmd ones much at all

gotta find a useable dash pad too, crack in it would be fine

no one seems to have even a cracked pad
