is there anyone here who can tell me how to make carbon fiber peices, is this stuff like fiberglass or what, how much lighter than fiberglass is it and what is the cost of the materials, any info on the process would be appreciated.

 

It's vaguely similar to working with fiberglass cloth, only more involved if you're vacuum bagging it, which you would be. It's expensive as hell, around $50/running yard, depending on width.
