Car Crash, Sigh. Body Time

I was in the rain and my car started skidding when i was braking at a stop light, I rear ended a Honda Pilot, its damage consisted of one scuffed up bumper guard. My car on the other hand slid underneath it and totally ruined my headlights which were flipped up, my hood is squished, bumper is shot, and passenger fender is done as well. All from a 15mph accident. Anyway I am trying to stay optimistic about the situation as it gives me the opportunity to get a new front end that had about 6 holes in it from badly placed license plates and the hood which was rusting. First on the list is a new Ram Air WS6 style hood. Ive visited ramairhoods.com and the prices were way up there. Any suggestions or directions to a better site?

ps. oh and now i can paint my car lincoln black!

I've never been a fan of that hood, it doesnt flow with the body right.
as for its price, they are not cheap anywhere.

sorry to hear you messed up the bird, but sheetmetal is an easy fix, lucky you didnt get any frame damage.

make sure you check under the nose a downward impact can twist the core support and bend the crap out of the brackets that hold the nose up.

there appears to be some strain on the radiator supports but im having the entire front end pulled off and inspected, thanks for the heads up its greatly appreciated, i will make it a priority. Also ive done a bit of snooping and am debating whether to post this question in the aftermarket review forum but I found this site http://www.andysautosport.com/pontia...erglass_hoods/ and they sell the G&T fiberglass ram air 2 hood for 385 unsanded (ill take care of that myself). compared to 830 from ram air. I wonder if such a significant price difference has caused the quality to suffer.
