Any bird's here with Hawks 4th gen. wing?

Well, that did'nt work so well, guess you'll have to click the link to see it.
Does it mount to the same tabs as the aero wing? What about holes in the rear deck, do they line up, or is this like any other wing where I'll have to re-do everything? I know they make a fiberglass aero wing but Im looking for something different but hopefully without so much work.

Sure are'nt many people answering it if there are lots here.
and btw, the search turns up very little good info about the HAWKS 4th gen wing. So unless you have a specific thread to give me then....
They're simple questions, it would take like 2 seconds to answer.

Good call, I'd also like to learn about this. My OEM Formy wing is toast!

Yep,I sure do!View my photobucket album for pics.
TheRealBlkBrd,they don't use the same mounting as the org. aerowing.
You have to fill the holes and redrill new ones, and remove the tabs on the edge of the glass.
If you don't want to go through all that hassle,I would rec. just getting the aero fiberglass wing.I believe they are a direct bolt on.

Regarding the new holes you had to drill--would I be correct to assume that there are bolt holes under the two back pillars by the center taillight, and also on the side supports right behind the hatch glass? Was it an easy install? Did you have to sand the crap out of it or did it come ready for primer?
That sucks about having to grind the tabs off of your hatch! Does the wing feel secure without them? Thanks again for the info and those awesome pics.

Re: Any bird's here with Hawks 4th gen. wing?
yes,bolts under all 4 pedestals.
It came already primered, and just gave it a 400 grit wetsand before painting.
It was kind of a pain mounting and drilling the new holes and filling the old ones, but not too bad.Worst part was checking,re-checking and then checking again to make sure I had everything even and straight prior to drilling!LOL

Wow, it comes primered. Awesome. Classic industries has it for like $500! Looks like I'll be getting mine from Hawks.
Hey, this is kinda off topic, but how do you like your new 90's nose? I used to have a 91 and I think I like the looks of that style nose better than my 88, but I hated how it was kinda warped where it meets the hood. Nothing major, it just wasn't a perfect straight line. That seems to be a common ailment among 91's and 92's.
