How many hood bumper stops are required?
I've purchased a 1992 Z28 that had a bolt on (dzus fasteners) fiberglass cowl hood. I'm installing a factory hood, and I need to put on the hood bumper stops. The car had none installed, so my question is how many do I need?
Also, I've only found these for sale on Hawk's

Do local parts stores normally stock these?

I want to say I have two and I would think a local parts store would stock these, not sure though.

I've got 4....2 up front and 2 more close to the windshield. The back 2 are on the bases of the hood hinges and I'm pretty sure theres a notch on each side in the bottom of the hood that catches under the rubber bumper when I close the hood.

Pick them up.. hold them chest high, then drop them...

(I have 4 total, the rears are all jacked up)
The front 2 are like the ones you posted, the rears are part of the hinge as mentioned before.

ya the rear ones are just bolts with plasticy rubbery covers. you have to rembove the plastic covers to adjust the bump stops. at least on mine you do.
